About the role:
We're seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to assess our financial performance and provide analyses that meet the needs of decision makers.
You'll join an innovative team, which drives analysis of the key drivers behind financial results and helps influence decision making for the business.

Day-to-day, you will:
Develop, manage and deliver agreed financial metrics, ratios and benchmarks to financial performance.
Evolve the framework and process for capital budgeting and capital prioritisation working closely with key stakeholders.
Review the budget, prepare analysis, and challenge forecast submissions, based on independent analysis and engagement with the Finance Partnering team.
Implement and continually improve the methodology to benchmark performance across business units and against external sources to assist performance assessment and goal setting.
Assess the financial impact of development activities on the short to medium term outlook, including asset and functional activities, the funding plan and major projects.
Initiate and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders to embed financial analysis and decision support within all areas of the business.
Provide support to the Investor Relations function with communications, queries and presentation of financial information.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
4+ years of experience with financial modelling, scenario analysis, budgeting and forecasting, coupled with commercial acumen.
Advanced excel experience required. Consulting experience, preferred.
Well-developed analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly. Experience in working with complex systems in a service delivery environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships within and across teams at all levels of the organisation.
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to think laterally and constructively challenge current business models.
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
