Panel: How transit is responding to COVID-19 and the next normal

Recording: access here

Over the past few months, COVID-19 has disrupted daily life and had major health and economic impacts on the country. Transit agencies have been severely impacted with some agencies seeing up to ~95% drops in ridership. Please join us for a conversation regarding impacts the US transit industry is feeling in response to the pandemic and how key public and private players are thinking about recovery to the next normal. We will hear from transit agency and private sector representatives on financial, operational, and capital perspectives of the impact to COVID-19. We will seek to understand what the next normal will look like and how agencies are preparing for a safe recovery as stay-at-home orders are lifted. Finally, we will discuss the capital implications of COVID-19 and how alternative delivery methods could be used in the coming years.
