YPI Fellowships and Introduction to P3s
Please join the Young Professionals in Infrastructure (YPI) hosted event, “YPI Fellowships and Introduction to P3s”, on November 10th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM EST. The event will be broken out into three sections:
YPI overview, its mission, and its opportunities for students and young professionals
Our 2022 Fellows, Molly Harris (University of California Berkeley) and Yunping Liang (Georgia Institute of Technology) will be presenting their research
Yunping Liang studied and analyzed the patterns of risk allocation in the U.S. broadband P3 market through applying content analysis on the clauses of currently disclosed contracts. The results show that compared to other relatively mature P3 sectors (e.g., transportation), the identification and allocation of risks in the broadband sector are at a primitive stage and implies different power dynamics in partnerships
Molly Harris studied the changing patterns in ownership of rental housing in Canada and the growing role of institutional and larger-scaled investors in the operations of the housing.
